  My wife Dawn and I founded Vom Jagerhaus West German Shepherds to establish a breeding kennel that provides quality, healthy, well bred German Shepherd Dogs and puppies, selected from both here in the U.S.A. and around the world, focusing on the traits of the more European lines of German Shepherd Dogs, primarily West German, which have a softer, red mahogany coat, and are noted for their versatility as a good pet and companion dog, as well as an amazing working dog, used throughout the world. We will strive to do this by breeding the healthiest, most genetically appealing German Shepherd parents we can find by researching, among other factors, Wright's Coefficient of Inbreeding, thereby seeking out the bloodlines that provide the best that both the American and European dogs have to offer. We breed top notch German Shepherd Dogs that are registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC), the North American Purebred Registry (NAPR), the Verein Fur Deutsche Schaferhunde (SV,e.V), in Germany, and the American Working Dog Federation (AWDF).  Vom Jagerhaus is a Verified Signer of the GSDCA Breeders Code of Ethics, and is a member of the American Kennel Club (AKC), the North American Purebred Registry, the Verein Fur Deutsche Schaferhunde (SV, e.V), the German Shepherd Dog Club of America (GSDCA), the Vlaamse Vereniging Voor Duitse Herdershonden (VVDH), and the United Schutzhund Club of America (USCA).
